Need to leave early and re-enter the real world early (like sun night). any advice to make it easier? we'll be gettting there kinda early so we'll probably be close to centeroo

Firstly, getting there early doesn't necessarily mean you'll be close to Centeroo. If you get there REALLY early, you can in fact be sure you WON'T be close. If you're not that early, there's really no way to know where you'll end up.
But as far as leaving Sunday night, a fair amount of people are doing that so it probably won't be too difficult. Pack stuff up as much as you can that evening so you don't have to pack in the dark. Beyond that, I don't have any specific advice, I think it just really depends on the spot you have and if people around you are leaving.
tell all of your neighbors that you are leaving early on friday
that way, they can move their tents (you may be blocked in) on sunday afternoon or something and they won't have to acommodate you during widespread's set.
if you tell them and they still aren't there... just move their tents and leave.... they'll never find you
that said... stay til monday. there's still plenty of time to re-schedule anything that could possibly make you have to leave early
*i like coconuts, you can break them open they smell like ladies lyin in the sun** *Hell I don't even know where I am** *for now I must sit here and ponder the yonder: The herbivores did well cause their food didn't never run** *We listen, if it feels good We shake** *You made a big impression for a girl of your size, Now I can't get by without you and your big brown eyes.**

Er...they park a lot more than 3 deep! I just stole these from a google image search, but they might give you an idea of what the campgrounds are like:
So obviously, if you're at the edge of one of the campgrounds you'd be able to get out pretty easily, but if you're in the middle you'll have a lot more trouble.

Yeah, I've never been but I would think it would be pretty hard to leave early if you were camping with all the rows of cars.
That picture is amazing though...looks pretty cool.
plan on leaving monday and then see if you can leave early. yes try to catch the neighbors early because it may take a while to catch everyone. people do begin to leave on sunday but there are no promises on that. last year this nice woman asked my neighbors to move their car five feet back and then they could move back into their spot and they refused. they said "good luck with that'. so the woman couldnt leave because these fat bitches wouldnt move their car five feet for about 10 minutes so she could get around them. i wanted to do something to them like.,...hem them in when they wanted to leave but i didnt. thats so NOT the roo way. people are usually very helpful but dont count on that ok?
i think if you did tent only you would be able to get out? is that right folks? couldnt she walk back to her car if she did that or no?
I don't think it would be a problem getting out of tent only and back to your car. I think the issue is getting your car out once you walk back to where it's parked.
do you know if the cars in the tent only area are packed in tightly or are they parked in spaces like day parking?
ok this is how it works
there is no separete parking for tent only - you park where they put you - just like you were going to camp with your car - then if you want to - instead of camping with your car - you can haul your stuff to tent only
there is usually a good bit of space to maneuver out on sunday night. you'd be surprised how many peoples are leaving or have left before Widespread will come on....(again).

As some people have mentioned before, staying until Monday morning is the absolute best plan. If you absolutely have to leave on Sunday night, expect frustration and summon up as much patience as you possibly can, because you'll probably need it. There are a few perks to staying until Monday morning: Local police have already met their quotas and won't be out hassling people who may or MAY NOT be doing anything wrong. It happens, especially on Sunday evening. You'll have an entire night of noiseless sleep, and being well-rested (especially for you guys who drive a long way to get here) is crucial for road trip safety. You can scavenge what people leave behind. Some people actually leave behind quality camping gear for some reason. Leaving won't waste gasoline in long lines, and you'll be relaxed and happy.
We left early in 2004, before the final show(trey) we packed everything up and moved our van to near the exit. Worked like a charm. We were about 10 deep but lots of people left early around us. Might be different this year with Panic closing and hopefully better weather(can't get much worse) I know I won't be leaving anytime before monday this year.
