these questions were posted in the Gene's RV FAQs thread and since no one had answered yet and i had the same q's i thought i'd post them as they're own little thread.
thanks for any help guys...karma ;D
1) We're coming down in an RV and don't have VIP and I was wondering what's the best way to avoid getting stuck in camp Felicity Shagwell (30 min walk from Centeroo)? My friend got stuck out in Austin Powers last year and spent 50% of his time walking.
2) Is there any benefit to showing up the night before with the RV and camping out in line (ie Wednesday night)?
3) Is there a particular entrance to use to avoid getting stuck really far away?
4) How do they fill the lots for RV's? Is it first come first serve or do they send you to the RV lot that is nearest to the entrance you use? I've heard it's not a bad idea to drop off a tent and supplies at the camping only section in order to have a place to go in case the RV gets parked far away, but we'd like to avoid that if possible.

This word also has a underground meaning once you break it down. Let’s take “Bonn” for example and it actually turns into the word “Bone”. We all know gays use this word to describe the action of when they are fecal fisting their Cuban cabana boy at their sex bath house parties. Now let’s look at Roo, “Roo” is short for “Kangaroo”.So put the full true message together and you get“Bone a Kangaroo

This is the one aspect of roo that makes it..either very frustrating or very mysterious. Where will I end up? I thought that for sure now that we got an RV we were set, but then I looked at the map and saw some RV sites way way out there. I hope that the good Karma vibes that i have given this past year speak to the Roo Gods and land me in a good place with some really good neighbors! If anyone has the Roo Gods chants on speed dial...hook me Up, all that walking last year from camp "m" was brutal!
As my Inebriated buddy walks out of the Porto, he yells out, "Dude...I love this place...bonnaroo thinks about everything...they even put beer holders next to the toilet!"
Had to break it to him that that was the urnal. Good times good times!
Unless you get there REALLY REALLY late you won't get stuck too far away....we didn't get in till almost 6 pm Thursday last year (like inside the gates...were in line by 11:30 am : and still got a decent GA RV spot right by the day parking. It was still a good 15-20 min walk to Centeroo but not any farther than most of the other GA RV spots, certainly not off in BFE! If you are not getting in till Friday or later you might get stuck out, but that will be the same with tent only too, so....not going to buy much that way....either way you'll be better off to sick with your RV spot...it will be bigger and the GA RV spots are marked off....so that you get your entire space to use as you want! ;D
I don't think they will let you in with an RV on Wed night....and they fill in the RV spots as you come in...if they have more than one entrance open for RVs then they will fill the closest RV lot to the entrance you come in first, and there isn't really a good rhyme or reason to HOW they fill them, it seemed to be at the discretion of the volunteers
