i'm not surprised that phish has more votes seeing as how they have the bigger fan base. that phish could sell out their own festival of they were to get back together, and that ween could only grab a tent spot at bonnaroo last year. but what im not surprised at is that only one person so far has voted that they both kick ass. guess this just supports me and my friends theory that most people (not everyone) are one or the other.
I never really got into Phish...Just another jam band to me.
At the same time I don't see how you could compare the two...but since you are my obvious answer would be Ween. By the way they rocked it out last year...good show.

hahaah i didnt delete my name, it just happened to log me out yesterday right when i was typing in that response. i thought it was kinda weird when it asked me to type in a verification code.

His "theory" is not proven by any means, because most people here who voted for one or the other said they liked both. This thread has shown that Phish is more popular with the Inforoo crowd (not really a surprise), but by no means does it show that people like one and not the other. I guess this poll also helped to illustrate that people will interpret information however they need in order to justify themselves.

^^don't think he was hatin' by any means... just pointing out a few flaws to the poll in the realistic sense. But then again... every poll has it's flaws and cannot be 100% accurate because they always leave it up to human interpretation. For me, as one of those who likes both but chose Phish, it was simply a choice of me worshiping Phish as opposed to just digging Ween. Huge difference in appreciation, so although both do rock I felt the need to give Phish their credit. Biased? yes. But show me a poll that isn't biased and i'll be utterly impressed
