The local 7 day forecast here in Nashville shows Sunshine on Thursday and Friday...I'm praying for an overcast weekend. The TN Renaissance festival was overcast this year and it was awesome! Wouldn't mind a little misty rain...as long as we don't get a tornado or flash flood!
The National Weather Service and it now does not give any chance for rain on Wednesday and Thursday
Don't believe it. Too hot and humid for a 0% chance.
If it's correct, that's a good thing because the only way you could have 0% chance of rain at 90+ temps is VERY low humidity. Any moisture at all with that much energy would give a chance of afternoon thundershowers
I would much prefer heat of any sort (dry or humid) over a little cooler and rainy the whole time. Maybe a shower once a day like we had last year for 15-20 minutes would be nice, but that is the max. "It's gettin' better all the time"

I concur.
I concur as well We live in Las Vegas so it will be cooler in temp at Roo, but it will make up for it with humidity. I have some concerns about Thunderstorms, and keeping our campsite dry if it rains. I was at Roo in '04 and as much as the mud sucked, the smell of the mud was Quacking out of control.
If it cools down the T-storm threats will decrease. It's the HOT days the breed T-storms. The cooler ones result in nice calm showers if anything at all.

Oh I know that - but a Mississippi gal can dream of 0% humidity, can't i?
So this is kinda unrelated, but it's related to rain...
If it rains, and I have crocs, do I really *need* rainboots too? I mean, wouldn't they get hot and get rain inside of them anyway if I have on shorts or a dress? I'm just wondering if it's really necessary...
Hopefully the weather keeps getting better and I won't have to invest in rain gear at all!!

good question... i'd like to know too. i don't want rainboots. all rubbery and sticky ewww.
The High pressure system is supposed to slide east by the time Bonnaroo comes... I predict it will still effect the Bonnaroo weather for at least the first half of roo... After it slides further east towards Sunday the Rain chances will slightly increase... But the jet stream is situated far north of Roo keeping low pressure systems at bay... Our biggest chance of rain will be from the daytime heating... and that will only be spot showers and storms...
im def digging the cloudy aspect of this roo. phew. heat schmeat, just dont let me fry. a day in the sun does a number on me and makes it much much harder to be up for latenight.
and bama, im just bringing crocs if it rains, screw it... rain boots are a PIA.
