I've seen people raving about these Misty Mates. I figured with only a month to go, I better go ahead and order a few so I dont have to worry about them arriving on time.
Ehhh - it will last about an hour or so - depending - although - I don't seem to remember having to fill it constantly last year and we used them a good bit
I used my friend's 24oz Misty Mate last year, and it was just big enough to be a pain in the @$$. It took up most of the room in my backpack, and we never even got close to using all the water in it in between trips to the fountain anyway.
This year I'm going with the 16oz. It's about the size of a Thermos, and has a nice carrying strap if you don't want to lug around a backpack all day. As long as you don't overdo it, it should last plenty long enough to make it between trips passing by the fountain to fill up.

no matter which one you get..don't forget to load that baby with ice. You will be shivering you'll be so cold. I thought about wearing a suit with like 10 misty mates strapped all over just pump them all up and walk through the crowd. I'd be like a human mist tent. I bet I would make a couple friends ;D ;D
The generation 1.0 mistymates are a lot cheaper on that site and work just fine. I have the old 10 oz version (still for sale): www.mistymate.com/shop/component/page,shop.product_details/category_id,1/flypage,shop.flypage/product_id,4/option,com_virtuemart/Itemid,26/
Not a clue whether it works anymore, but I used this coupon code to get 10% off a few months back: SS10
^^^teh small ones that look flimsy - are not flimsy at all - we had three that made it to roo and back last year and will be going again this year
so I guess the rest is personal preference - I like the small ones because you can tuck them in your pocket (they stick out but at least you don't have to carry it - or if you want them in your backpack they don't take up much room
