So I just got a new pair of running shoes and it's like jogging on clouds--problem is I've exhausted my current running playlist, so I need some new musical suggestions.
What do you all listen to while working out or running? I need something with a lot of energy, and it would be great if I could multitask and get some Bonnaroo artists on the list, too.
Watchin' a stretch of road, miles of light explode. Driftin' off a thing I'd never done before. Watchin' a crowd roll in. Out go the lights it begins. A feelin' in my bones I've never felt before...

I used to run strictly to metal, then I discovered the "hippie workout mix", its a bunch of disco biscuits jams all mixed together, the second one is awesome, I run to it all the time and I'm not sick of it yet.
I used to have a gym playlist, but that's on my old computer and I really don't feel like booting up that old brick to check it out. However, I tend to work out to punk mostly, since it's got such a fast tempo. Everything from our beloved Gogol Bordello to Stiff Little Fingers, from the New York Dolls to The Violent Femmes. AC/DC also keeps me running on the treadmill. I'll also listen to a little bit of old school hip-hop, some classic rock, or maybe the occasional pop or techno song here and there... usually it's just whatever comes up on shuffle, though. Just as long as it's faster paced than something like my beloved Sigur Ros.

Interesting. . . I'll definitely be checking it out--Bisco hasn't kept my attention in the past, but I'll give it another shot if it means a faster run time
Edit: Is there a way to download the mix? I see a streaming option and a link to get the separate songs from Archive, but am I overlooking a direct download to mp3s option?
