I want to bring one, but my hubby thinks I'm nuts. I think I will anyway (if I have the space)...hehe... I saw lots of them last year. At the Dead, there was one chick with glow necklaces taped to the hoop. It was cool to watch. She was really good. I can barely keep the thing going, but I guess that is part of the fun.
The bigger around they are the easier they are to move.. I make mine out of irrigation tubing and a connector and decorate them with colored tape.. You can even put a small amount of water in it to make it easier to roll..

I am bringing one!! I have been there the last two years with a hoop so maybe you saw me I like really large hoops. I have a few with sand in them to keep it going. That gets kinda heavy and the next day I wake up with bruises. Water does the same thing. I love hoopin so hopefully we will bump into each other & we can hoop together

I would love to bring one! I saw some really pretty ones at Walgreens the other day. They were all bright colors and sparkley! I'm just kinda embarrassed b/c I always see all these people with them at shows and stuff and they are really good at it and I can barely keep it going! Do ya'll think I'll get made fun of too much if I attempt to hula hoop?
The ones in the stores are smaller diameter and harder (for me anyway) to use..I will try to bring a couple..even tho I am flying down. It is not hard and so much fun to watch people being a kid again..
I bought one last year at bonnaroo from some folks I met sitting in the cold without tickets at the Phish Hampton comeback shows; what a trip running into them. I'm going to bring it. Love the hoop but I respect its power to bruise me up pretty good.

Is anyone planning on selling hula hoops there? I've never seen anyone selling them before but then again, I've never really looked for them either. ;D
