I just saw where 3 day passes sold out to Pitchfork. Still can buy single days though.
Yeah, that really bums me out, since I can't afford my ticket just yet. Stupid me, not filing my taxes until the last minute. Oh well, at least you can still by $50 dollar Sat-Sun passes, and if I choose to buy a Friday ticket as well, that's still only 80 bucks for the whole weekend.
Yeah yeah yeah. Its still an amzing deal. And with Mission Of Burma Friday night ... I couldn't say no. Wish I was going but Im to Bisco that weekend. I'm sure it'll be a blast though.

Seen them twice - at Bonnaroo, and at the Bottletree in Birmingham. Both shows were ridiculously good. Roo takes the cake, but it's worth noting that everyone jumped the stage during the final song, "Killer Parties" at the Bottletree, and it was transcendent.
I'd love to make it to the Athens show, but don't know if I can. I know they'll be back to Birmingham, though. They said the Bottletree is like home to them.

I keep hearing from friends of mine that Ram's Head sucks, but these are kids that are used to seeing shows in basements and squats, so anything with a capacity of over 50 to them sucks. I'll take your guys' word for it. This show is gonna rock.
I would like to point out I am off to Norfolk tomorrow. I would also like to point out they are opening for The Counting Crows in the UK in December and wondered what eveyone thought of that.

Including their upcoming Philly appearance, I'll have seen them 3 times this summer. Best band in America. Anyone else get tickets to the gig with Sonic Youth? Sold out in 3 minutes, I got four!
^^ You got your wish. Not many but a few. Ohhh and they are playing State College the day I get back from the honeymoon.

Terminal 5 is a fantastic modern venue with awesome acoustics and a great layout including two wraparound balconies above the floor... I just saw Iggy and the Stooges there and it was a kickass show in every sense of the word!
Too funny though... I guess as a NY'er I'm pretty jaded, because the 1st thing I thought when I looked up the shows on Ticketbastard was, "WoW... only $30!" LMASSOFF!

we were thinking a road trip to Philly but its looking like we'll hit up bloomington and chicago. this is going to be such an awesome run of shows. i can feel the hangover already.
Ok. So after confering with the people that need to be confered with we are actually flying back the day before Raleigh. So we are in for that as well as State College and see about NYC. How much fun is this gonna be.
