So I went tonight and it was just great, it definitely turned me on to some more of their stuff, along with Alvin Youngblood Hart. It was a free show via Sundown in the City which is a free concert series here in Knoxville. The shows are usually out in the middle of the street with a stage. But the weather was bad today and they moved the show to the Tennessee Theater, which is a very pretty venue. A local band opened the night, but I didn't get there until the last song of their set. Then Alvin came on the stage solo and played a set. Then North Mississippi Allstars played and about halfway through Alvin joined them for about 5-6 songs. Great night...
