We all know Robert Hunter wrote the lyrics to many Grateful Dead songs along with the band. What I'm asking here is.. who was responsible for the music in these songs?

^^^ It'll be Josh, not me. I've promised him the ticket, and we can't really afford a second (or, even more expensive, to board the dogs - which reminds me, your avatar is soooooo adorable!). Besides, he's always wanted to go it alone at least once, so now he has his chance. I have to say, I didn't mind because I was initially one of those people who was very disappointed about the lineup (and I won't even say how I feel about Metallica or Kanye , but I was just looking at it, and I'm getting pretty jealous! Oh well, it'll be nice having the apartment all to myself for a few days!
Edit: And I do feel like giving everybody a ton of karma right now!

Although he was originally not wanting to do Roo, we've had some really bad luck this year concert wise (he was super-sick for Chris Rock, The Mars Volta got cancelled, we're having to cancel to Rothbury, it looks like Echo might not happen, and don't even ask about Radiohead), so he's really excited that he's going to get his festival fix.
