I am happy to report that 3 nights of Wilco in a row is definitely NOT too much. That band is phenomenal. If I could have one wish, I would wish that they had played Sky Blue Sky at least once (only because the song was written about watching a parade in my hometown). If I could have two, I would have wished for a little more variation between the first two nights.
HOWEVER, even the songs that were played all three nights, were songs I did not mind hearing 3 times. Last night was definitely the very best night. Jeff Tweedy wore the white sparkly suit he wore on SNL.
Wilco did something I have never before seen in all of my concert going history... After the 2 encores, the crowd was still begging for more. The house lights came on, the crowd booed (not something I agree with) and people started shuffling toward the door. Unbelievably, the BAND CAME BACK ON STAGE!!! The house lights turned off and they finished it all off with I'm a Wheel. At the end of the song, Jeff Tweedy put his guitar down came back to the microphone and said "That's it!" in a stern fatherly way.
Wow. Just wow. The last three nights will truly be something to tell my children about.
Wow! I definitely agree that 3 back to back to back wilco performaces would not be too much. I think that I would be fine with seeing them every night of my life
I don't remember them playing sky bue sky when i saw them in houston in early march...
At the houston show, they played a wide variety...like songs off of every album, which was really cool.
As i listen to them right now, i long to see them again! It was one of the best concert experiences ever!
I still can't get enough... not a day has gone by since the last show that I haven't played Wilco for at least a little bit. I'm such a fan girl... I just found out that my brother once delivered a pizza to Jeff Tweedy's dad. How cool is that?!
^that's such a cool coincidine about the pizza thing.
i have one too... i have a friend. her mom works with some lady. this lady offered a house/had a crawfish boil/something to that effect and wilco stopped by on their way through new orleans, la to houston, tx.
the jealousy that runs through my veins. to know that they were so close and i could've gotten the chance to meet/hang out with them.
and, i understand what you mean about the listening to them over and over even after the show. i was like that with paolo nutini.

The 3 Wilco shows from St. Louis are now available to stream on Wilco's website.
I was at night two, and it was absolutely amazing!!! It was my first Wilco concert, and definitley will not be my last! I am listening to night 2 right now, and I feel like I am right back at the Pageant.
