Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Last year we came in through the highway, it wasn't the exit, but in-between the walmart-exit and the Roo exit. They opened the fence and said go in here.
So My question is...what are all the "entrances"? Which one is better than the other? If you have entered through different entrances, have they yielded better spots? Lastly, how do you get to each one???
All and any help will be repaid in my graciousness and some good ole KARMA!
As my Inebriated buddy walks out of the Porto, he yells out, "Dude...I love this place...bonnaroo thinks about everything...they even put beer holders next to the toilet!"
Had to break it to him that that was the urnal. Good times good times!

We did Bushy Branch both years, arriving at roughly the same time. One year we had decent (10 min walk from centeroo) camping, and last year we were out in BFE in the Coming to America camps. So it varies.
Exit 111 is Brushy Branch Exit 112 is the temporary "thru the fence" exit These are the two ways to enter.
That being said, The usually closed Exit 111, 114, etc about 6 or 7am Thursday and reroute traffic coming from nashville down to Exit 127 and back up Hwy 41 and into Brushy Branch. This eases traffic on the Interstate. The y may make traffic coming from Chattanooga get off at Exit 127 also, though you could probably drive right by and get off at Exit 112.
Likely you will just follow traffic and do what they say. Where you park is a crapshoot anyway. Unless you get there before 7 am Thus and then you'll almost certainly be way out in BFE.

Grosch Drive is not an entrance to my knowledge. It may be a VIP entrance or employee entrance but I've never known it to be open to all.
Also Exit 114 (Walmart exit) is usually closed if your going south/east after about 7am Thursday until traffic eases up. If you'rew going North/west it's probably best just to go up another mile or so to Exit 112.

Last year we left walmart right around 6am, traffic was already backed up past exit 114, so they had the north/west ramp blocked off, we had to go south/east to the next exit then turned around, headed back north/west and got in line. We were directed into exit 112 off the highway and ended up getting a great spot (camp Clubber Lang, < 5 min walk to Centeroo). But I think the whole exit 112 thing is a crapshoot. Seems like the toolbooth thingy is pretty close to the highway, so probably doesn't take long for that to back up to the exit, which is probably when they close it and keep traffic moving on toward the bushy branch exit. Seems like the people that get waved past 112 have a much much longer wait. I'll be whispering a little prayer to Corncat as exit 112 approaches... ;D

I'm pretty sure there's 3 entrances - 112, the back of bushy branch (exit 127 to hwy 41) and the interstate side of bushy branch, from hwy 55.

This is probably a question for the locals. From where I am coming from, I have the option to take Hwy 55 coming from the southwest or I can cut North and come down I24 South from Nashville. Which of these would be my best option for a) less traffic and b) better chance of getting a good spot.
If I came on 55 from the southwest, would I still need to hit 24 and head south?

If those are your 2 options, definitely option A. 55 will take you where you need to go - you will not need to get on I-24.
I come from Nashville and I actually get off at exit 105, take hwy 41 down to 55 and then take 55 to the 'roo site.

You will not be able to go down Grosch without VIP passes, they will not let you turn off 41 that direction.
