now i need to order stuff...
omg I love you! That is gonna be awesome!!!! you should get a pair of those coconut bras and paint it with glow in the dark paint, put smiley faces or something on them!

That's awesome! ;D I bet you could probably talk me into glowing with you.
Tape the LEDs to the batteries (they'll blink for a week, easily). The end result is something like this: tinyurl.com/6mmvu9
Using double-sided tape (or even just plain old duct tape), make patterns on your clothing, headgear, canopy, etc.
For Rothbury, I Photoshopped 25 'fairies', printed them out on transparent velium, and glued them to the front of the blinkies. I plan on sticking them around my campsite... like bait for some sort of giant hippie mouse trap....

sweet - i need to order some glow stuffs... viva la ebay! skirt construction would be a great early morning activity.
Go to www.instructables.com and look up throwies. It's basically a led taped to a battery, but you can also attach a magnet, and throw it up high to glow for all of bonnaroo.
BTW i'm in for the glowing. Just please answer to corncat or i'll be the crazy person yelling random stuff.....
I think this meetup will be difficult, and could be very time consuming - depending on where you are in the pearl jam crowd, your state of mind, and how long it takes to get near the vip entrance behind the what stage.
So, I'm curious - who really wants to be part of a glowing group wandering through centeroo? i'd like to make a contact list of the people really interested so we can made a decent effort that night.
oh, and finally, you're expected to supply your own glowsticks on this one... there might be extra depending on who brings what, but dont absolutely count on it.
plus, i really want to see sigur ros and dont want to miss them while waiting for people who arent showing up

hi all...just a fyi...I have a friend local to Bonnaroo who has extra battery operated glowy things with that EL wire on it. She hooked me up with these wings. I called and she has t-shirts too with EL on it...(!!) For anyone interested she said to keep an eye out wednesday night around wal-mart and you'll catch her.

I just hit up the Dollar store...they have packages of 22" glow necklaces 3 different packs...
#1 is a pack of 2 solid color with 2 glow bracelets included #2 is 2 twisted necklaces two colors twisted up #3 is two tri color necklaces 3 colors in a row.
I bought 6 packs..that's 12 22" necklaces and 4 bracelets for 6 bucks!!!
these will be way easier to make into outfits than the bracelets, I'm not sure how I'll get them into Centeroo but where there is a will there's a way!!!!!!

well, pearl jam is supposed to end at 12 and the artists we'll be checking out don't play until 1. We'll prolly not watch all of pearl jam - or watch from a distance by the vip area, which means it shouldn't be a problem for us to meet up.
I don't know how much my fiance plans on "glowing" himself up, but when you see me I'll prolly have most of my stuff already glowing. Since it will be time consuming to get everything together, I'll be putting getting ready at our tent. I may actually get things going before pearl jam since it will already be dark.
i might get started inside - but im going to be, hopefully, halfway to the stage or closer for pearl jam. i need to find a good group to enjoy the show with.
and dont get me wrong, i think it would be a ton of fun to have a bunch of people together - all somehow glowing more than the average person. i hope a ton of people show...
Hopefully you guys will be camping with/near us so we can plot our plans at camp! ;D We'll all be bringing glowies and blinkies tho....so it's just a matter of how/where/when.....
uh, not really. my formal plan involves standing in front of the vip entrance for a short amount of time until no one shows up and then jetting to sigur ros
im thinking i will have my camping neighbors for sure - and possibly others. i have lots of glowsticks! might have to have a skirt two nights in a row...

Lol... Indeed, indeed. Thats usually the progression of plans.
alright, so i should have 12 feet each of blue and green el wire waiting on my doorstep right now, and I'm thinking I'll probably be making a skeleton suit like the picture above. I'm not in vip, but i'll be at the brunch so maybe we can find out who's glowing at the brunch and then just find each other later in the night?? regardless, I look forward to seeing some glow stick grass skirts, that sounds like it could be very cool!
whoa, that stuff is an ann coulter to solder together! actually it would have been way easier if I had used a soldering iron, but i didn't have one around so I used a propane torch. 2 and a half hours into a 30 minute job, and I was up and glowing! now I've just got to fashion some sort of costume out of the stuff.
