I opened up my tarp today to let it air out and I got another taste of ROO '07 DUST...YUCK!!!!!! I don't miss that, hopefully this year will be a little bit better...dust wise
My roopile is about done. Got all the snacks and drinks I'm going to need. Kroger had $2.00 bottles of Powerade on sale for $.58 so I loaded up. Also got all of my tarps and canopys ready to make the fort.
I'm going to have to have a 'Roo pile merge this weekend. The pile at my apartment needs to meet up with the pile in the boyfriend's basement. 'Roo pile + 'Roo pile = 'Roo mountain!
solar shower tp child's knight costume with shield, sword, and helmet all made of foam from the dollar store tarp nylon rope tarp clamps granola bars thats it so far probably gonna do most of my shopping wednesday night when the rest of the group gets into indianapolis from oregon.
I have two large bins full of stuff... that does not include the tent, chairs, buckets, tarps, e-z up or the wagon I have to carry stuff back and forth. I'm worried it won't all fit in my car. :/
We did a test fit of our 'roo pile into our car yesterday afternoon. The pile had reached a size where I was fearful it wouldnt fit. Lots of happiness insued for me when it did. Only got to go make a trip to buy some batteries and dry ice and we are good to go.

WOAH! i just went to EMS today to see if they had anything i could use (LMAO they had a lot more than that, there was so much stuff i felt like i needed but couldnt get nearly all of it) and picked up the last couple things i really need, and started throwing stuff in a bag, counting up how much money ive saved etc and wOWOw its so close i cant believe it. this time last year i had completely given up all hope of getting a ticket or any spending money for bonnaroo and now its much more real than a fantasy. after this weekend is over it will be pretty much here! im looking forward to the drive almost as the event itself as i have never driven more than the 12 or so hours it takes to get to W. VA from here. That trip was with my parents, however, and we got into an accident pretty much as we crossed the border into Virginia :/ Were ironically? driving to Bonnaroo in the same car that happened in so im hoping we dont crash as we cross into TN lol.
I thought it was about time for a little BUMP for this thread A little early, perhaps. But I just added some items to my Bonnapile this weekend, and the excitement is starting to build!
haven't started a pile just yet but our air mattress and new duffle bag are on their way to join the tent we have. i was bored at work last week and made an excel spreadsheet of what needs to go to roo, so on paper i have a pile i'm a dork lol
