Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I'll make some numbers up... let's say they sell 30,000 tickets in the first 48 hours, but that's only maybe 10,000 unique orders. Sound about right? Judging by the activity yesterday, let's say 150 of those people are Inforoosters: the die-hards of the die-hards.
That means there's a 4.5% chance that an Inforooster will win! They're practically giving those golden tickets away!!
Hopefully my math is right, that's 3 golden tickets / 10,000 orders * 150 Inforoosters.

I'll take your word for it. Math and I do not get along.
If you click on "contest rules", it says that to be eligible you must purchase your tickets between 12:00 pm EST and 2:00 pm EST on Feb. 23rd. That looks like 2 hours to me, not 48.
What happens if my tee shot lands on a bird's back and he carries it out of bounds but then is attacked by a larger bird who grabs the ball and drops it in the hole? Is that still a hole in one? 'Cause that's how I'm gonna play it.

i think the golden ticket contest is awesome, but what happens when i win one and my friend that i'm going with doesn't? it would kinda suck to be backstage and all that without my best friend....not that i would say no to the golden ticket...but ya know???

I dont see anything about the golden tickets on bonnaroo.com now, but when I looked earlier I seem to remember it saying that you got 2 backstage passes for 2007....1 lifetime ticket but 2 backstage passes for this year.

What was the name of the spoiled british girl? I wish I could pull off something like what she did and buy a bunch of roo tickets, thus greatening my chances of winning....*sigh*....if only....
Maybe I'll throw myself to the dogs, but my back's not to the wall Maybe I'll lay some bricks for the man, but the days just aren't that long So if I settle back and chill will I see far enough to feel the angel's dream? I thought it was the Story of the World!

That's good news, you would have to assume that they would probably place one ticket in the vip portion and two in the GA. How many tickets do you think could potentially go in the first 48 hours?? I'm guessing around 8,000? More?

So according to the details in the rules, residents of Florida and a few other states are not eligible? Tell me this isn't true! Why the dissing of Florida. Tried to email them to confirm, but just got the automated response.
