So according to the details in the rules, residents of Florida and a few other states are not eligible? Tell me this isn't true! Why the dissing of Florida. Tried to email them to confirm, but just got the automated response.
Gawd. Once again, the citizens of Florida get screwed by our government.
I was getting ready to send in my one allowed postcard entry when my dreams were crushed as I read farther down.
This just makes me wanna move even more.
My sympathies to all the rest of you Florida, New York, Rhode Island & Connecticut residents. May all your other dreams come true.
So, does anyone know if people living outside the US are eligable for this or not?
Btw Im new to this board and am still in the process of seeing if Im able to go to this this year. It would be my first Bonnaroo as it's a near 30 hour drive for me to get there .

Golden Bondaroo Ticket!
As an added bonus, if anyone on the boards gets a golden ticket, I'll buy you some gold bond and present it to you at the festival. Plus we'll high five. ;D
here's my question: are the people who participate in the payment plan eligible for the golden ticket contest? if so that means an additional xxx people in the competition who wouldn't have been before because they were probably going to be short the total ticket price before the contest ended....like me
Maybe I'll throw myself to the dogs, but my back's not to the wall Maybe I'll lay some bricks for the man, but the days just aren't that long So if I settle back and chill will I see far enough to feel the angel's dream? I thought it was the Story of the World!
ah! yes but this requires an extra click of the mouse at the bottom of a screen where it says "Click here to read the rules". i'm banking that the average visitor to the site who's interested in the contest isn't going to beyond that level.

It's cause you voted for Bush.
Haha...I grew an Al Gore beard after that election, Florida...
Only 697 days 15 hours and 3 minutes till that clown is out...
They say that the drawing is on March 1st, a month before the payment plan folks make their second payment so my guess is that you have to pay for your ticket in full to qualify, imo.
DO it. www.cleanvibes.com and fill out a volunteer app for 07. ITs two days of work and oyu deposit 250 which is refunded in full at the end. Im doin it (hopefully atleast. i just sent in my app)
So, here's the inforoo golden ticket rule. If someone on here wins, you must post a new thread with the words "I got a golden ticket!" And the first response must be: "Run Charlie!"
"They won't break me because the desire for freedom, and the freedom of the Irish people, is in my heart. The day will dawn when all the people of Ireland will have the desire for freedom to show. It is then that we will see the rising of the moon."

its too late now, since we have our tics but i also wonder if it would have been smarter to make two orders instead of one ... would that give you two entries and not just one ... and i read somewhere on this thread, was i suppose to do something else to qualify for the drawing besides buying tics within 48 hours ... and yes, our post card will be in the mail too .. cr*****
Wow, New Yorkers can't win the free ticket..that stinks. Good thing I will me moving to NJ by the end of the year (those are words I never thought would ever come out of my mouth) :-)

I was bored and curious about why certain states were excluded so I did a quick google search and found this if anyone is interested a possible explaination :
Commonly seen in many sweepstakes rules is the phrase, "void in Florida, New York, and Rhode Island." Why is that? Those states have specific laws relating to contests and sweepstakes which require that a contest promoter file a registration and post a bond or set up a trust account if the total value of prizes exceeds a certain amount of money.
Florida and New York require a promoter to register and post a bond if the prize pool is valued at $5,000 or more. Rhode Island requires registration if the prize pool is over $500. Arizona skill contests must be registered as "intellectual contests." In Maine, charging an entry fee or even shipping/handling charges may violate its laws.

I've been walking around singing "Ive got a golden ticket!" for two days now.
I hate it when I have irritating songs stuck in my head
i played grandpa joe in a production fo willy wonka. i ahd to memorize that song and learn hwo to sing it perfectly with a little kid on my back. it was tough
and i read somewhere on this thread, was i suppose to do something else to qualify for the drawing besides buying tics within 48 hours ... and yes, our post card will be in the mail too .. cr*****
Yeah - you can do that but it also states "One entry per person" note - it does not say family or address - just person
All I can say is that my life is pretty plain I like watchin' the puddles gather rain And all I can do is just pour some tea for two And speak my point of view But it's not sane, It's not sane
I just want some one to say to me I'll always be there when you wake
anyone know whether people who bought early-bird tickets are elligible? I read over the rules, but unless I missed it, I didn't see anything about it.
Sorry, the rules say:
All Entries for the Contest submitted by going to www.bonnaroo.com or by calling 1-800-594-8499 must be received between February 23rd 12:00:00 PM, EST and February 25 12:00:00 PM, EST.
