Howdy y'all!
I just bought my ticket... it turns out I don't get the free pass from my buddy with Such N Such. There is still the tiniest possibility they can get me a pass to camp with them, but I'm not counting on it.
My wife and I went to the first two Bonnaroos and the last two Bonnaroos, but she can't get off of work this time. I have another friend (who IS camping with Such N Such) to see some shows with, but for the most part I will know no one.
I guess my question is:
If you saw a poor 31 year old dude trying to set up an ancient shade tent by himself, would you help him?
Even if he had a shaved head and looked like a cop?

Sounds like you look like Boz - LOL and yes - I do believe we would help - but I agree with others - also sounds like you ought to haul to Tent Only and camp with Inforoo! ;D

I would want to help, but I would most likely collapse your tent in my misguided efforts to help. But yes, people will definitely help you out with whatever you need.
The way I seeit, if the dude turns out to be a cop, best to be on friendly terms with him.
That's what I've been saying all alone, cops aren't all bad. I use to be one. I don't think I'm a dink. So, make friends with your neighbors at roo, you never know who they might be. It was kind of fun watching the college kid next to us last year when he showed me his corn supply. Then the conversation turned to what I did for a living. I told him I use to be a cop. I've never seen a smile come off someones face so fast. I don't think his ass un-puckered for the rest of the weekend, Priceless. Maybe I am a dink? ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

As an early thirties shaved head guy who could pass as a cop who has attended every Roo solo until this year, I feel confident in telling you I have never had a problem getting help if I need it. You will be fine. If you are camped near douchebags, plan B it to Camp Inforoo in Tent Only.

Hahaha, that's great. I'd love to have seen that.
Glad to hear that people are willing to help out. I'm also going solo and will need someone to help me set up camp. I pitched my tent in my backyard the other day, and it's going to be very difficult to do by myself. Hopefully my neighbors are friendly enough, and I'll be sure to compensate them with a couple beers for their assistance.
I'm going solo, will need help setting up my shade tent. Will be more than happy to help others set up. I'm going to be in tent only and will be one of the first in as I am arriving Wensday morning and going in as soon as they let me. I'm a little copish looking also. I'll look for camp inforoo but thinking I might be there before inforoo is set up at all. Anyone else going in early as possible let me know.
