Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
So this year a bunch of my buddies are going down to Roo. We're all excited to hang out and see bands together and walk around painted together and all that fun stuff. We also wanna camp together (cuz it will be fun to all camp near eachother). The only problem is that we're not all coming in together. Some of us are driving, others are flying and those who are driving are taking several cars. Is there a way that the first people who get there can save spots for the others? I mean, we are all coming in on thursday...
If you want to camp together, you really need to go in together. All the cars will need to go in in a line and stay together.
As for the flyers, if there aren't to many, to can probably make room at your big caravan camp (assuming you do it that way) for an extra tent or two if the flyers are willing to haul their stuff to wherever you end up. They pack you in pretty tight, so there's no room to bring an extra car in later, and there's really no place to wander to and set up a big camp (other than Tent Only of course).

Not really no. You camp next to your car (unless you go to tent only), so as the cars go in you get your spot next to it. I don't see any way you could hold spots with the way they do it.
You could always meet up outside somewhere and then drive in together. If you keep your cars together they will make it so you can park and camp together.

There's no way for them to bring their cars to where you are, but depending on how many people you have, they could just leave their cars and come to your campsite if you have room for them. That might work if you can get a few cars together and only have a couple extra people coming later.
Your best bet is going to be to have all of you meet up in the Wal-Mart parking lot, then when you are all there, you go in together in a line. You will all be camped together that way, no worries.
I pretty much agree with all the previous posters, it's about impossible to get a group together inside bonnaroo that wasn't together going in. I will add though that once at bonnaroo and also at langerado this year (same kind of set up) I had to arrive later than my group. At langerado, we parked where they put us and then schlepped all of our stuff over to our group camp. There was plenty enough room for our tent there.
The one time at bonnaroo, I actually couldn't get there until friday around 6 p.m. and I just drove right up to their site, pulled my car over on the side and put up my tent. Little did I realize how lucky I was at the time that they were on a row that could still be driven through (wasn't that crowded). I think it's b/c they had a crap campsite a 45 min. walk to centeroo, but it worked out good for me.
