I have this small fold out chair/cooler. it was a MUST for centeroo...no matter where I was I had snacks,drinks and a seat. Plus it has the Weeds logo on it from the Showtime series so that makes it double cool

It's a good idea to hump a beach chair into Centeroo since you don't know what might be on the ground where you want to sit... yuck. Also, you can find a shady spot under a tree and take a break. I find both a chair (with shoulder strap) and mister fan are must haves. Maybe it's because I'm a bit older than the average Roo'er but I like to be comfortable....
i picked up a sporting stool today at dick's sporting goods. it was only 8 bucks and it is 13inches off the ground. it doesn't have a back, but its only 2 1/2 lbs and has a strap so hopefully it wont be too big of a pain to lug around.
We bought a "Neet Sheet". It's basically like a tarp but with soft texture. It is water resistant and will be great if the ground is wet but no chair in Centeroo for us we'll be sitting on our butt.

I have a Neat Sheet as well, but am bringing a lightweight backpack style chair that sits low to the ground in case of mega rain/mud. It'll stay at the campsite unless the heavens open up.

A "Neat Sheet" is great!! Waterproof and soft - Highly Recommended! In fact, that reminds me to pick up a new one...
We have several of these Kelsyus backpack chairs. They are very comfortable and sit low enough that they do not block the view of anyone sitting on the ground behind you. They were also only $20 on sale at REI.
^^^^ That's what I have, but the beach model. It has more breathable fabric on the back. Target sells them as well (but for more than that fantastic REI price you got). I snagged mine at the end of the season last year, with the sun shade, for $7. Couldn't believe it was that cheap. Sure are more expensive, there, now!
I have brought two different stools the last two years and both have collapsed and died on me. Both times I was sitting on them at the time, providing a bit of amusement for the folks around me. Not this year!
A chair is a must especially for old timers like myself. I have had the same chair since '04, the only time I use it is at the farm. It saves me every year.
