snacks... I'm bringing fruit (a variety), Kashi bars, nuts, chips, and such. I've got two guys handling the food so I'm sure we'll have the beef jerky as well, lol. We're bringing lunch meat and such for lunches, but we will probably have dinner in Centeroo.
Mountain House entrees, MREs (if I get really desperate or need to feed a hungry wookie LOL), pancake pre-mix bottles, tortillas, cheese, pasta and sauce, and some fresh food like brats, cheese, bread, and blueberries for the pancakes. For "small snacks" inside cent'roo I am making corn brownies. Come by for dinner!
So far I've got beef jerkey(3 bags), trail mix(2 bags), pistachios(2 bags), and gum. still gotta get water, beer, stuff to mix with sulfur water to make it not taste like a fart, and maybe some clementines, hmm...
I wonder if anyone has been hassled about bringing food into the festival. Bonnaroo.com says "No food or drinks – other than factory sealed water bottles and small snacks" are allowed in Centerroo. In the past I have brought in lemonade and other flavored drinks in sealed containers with no problem. Has anyone ever brought in a picnic basket into Centeroo? ;D I will be in Camping Only Area, close access to the food I bring but who wants to miss music.

I like to eat no matter where I am for Bonnaroo 2007 and Langerado last year I had a full menu I planned for every day. Thursday=Spaghetti and toast after set up and after the music Friday=Steak with Mashed Potatoes for dinner and Pancakes for Breakfast. Saturday=Burgers and Beanie Weenies for Dinner and eggs/bacon/toast for Breakfast. Sunday=Hot Dogs and Black Beans for Dinner and a cereal bowl for breakfast. Monday=what ever is left over lunch is mostly small snacks or those tuna packs.I had no problem bringing those in to the fest. this year I am going to try the Black Box Wine (a good wine can make a decent steak better) I always have plenty to share so hit me up.Drinks are always Cranberry Juice in the morning and lemon flavored water in the fest. I like to save the beers for later.
im staying vip as i have the last 2 roos but in the heat and after a mass consumption of liquor like to eat soem fresh fruit..so fruit and bloody mary mixings are really the only thing on the list. but the last few years ive brought a ton of fruit leather and its been a delicious and easy to carry snack..

Actually, I was hassled about bringing food into Centeroo last year. Although I'm pretty skinny, I eat a lot, so I bring snacks for between meals. One of the security guards gave me a hard time about it, but let me through anyway. He said something to the effect of "That's a lot of food. Don't bring so much next time, or they might not let you in."
I didn't even think it was that much. If I recall correctly I had some jerky, an apple, some M&Ms, some trail mix, and a granola bar. It's not like I wasn't going to be buying food from the vendors for my main meals, I just wanted some stuff to snack on. So, unless you get nice security guys (I rarely do...), picnic baskets are out of the question.

My big plan is to buy some pre-cooked chicken so it doesn't go bad when everything in my cooler melts by sunday. I have a propane mini-grill that i will use for to cook eggs and chicken and boil water for coffee. during the Roo times that weren't VIP I was always tired from eating bad snacks. I'll throw in some energy bars and I think I'll be set.
