First of all, sorry.
In my desperation to figure everything out before Bonnaroo, I have become too stressed to search the through the boards before posting this. I'm sure there is an entire thread about this, but I have little time to search through dozens of pages.
The group that I am arriving with is highly considering Tent-Only camping for multiple reasons, the most important being the hope of easily leaving early Sunday afternoon with as little hassle as possible.
My questions are simply:
- Where is parking for "Tent-only" in relation to the camp grounds (I can't find it on the map) - Is exiting the grounds made easier by having the car parked away from the tents? - Is the Tent-only space likely to fill up? If so, how quickly and is there a "at earliest" time that you can arrive to set up?
At the moment, those are the most pertinent questions I can think of. Hauling gear won't be too much of a bother, so we're not too worried about that.
Really, I'll appreciate any help on this. Karma to whomever sympathizes with me and doesn't just send me to another thread to search.

To describe our situation. We have a flight leaving Knoxville (about 3 hours from Roo) at about 7pm for home, meaning we'll have to leave around 2-3pm to be safe.
Well yeah, there's probably a dozen threads. No worries.
- Where is parking for "Tent-only" in relation to the camp grounds (I can't find it on the map) There's no special parking for tent only. You'll park in the normal car-camping area (wherever they put you) and instead of setting up your gear next to your car, you haul it over to tent only and set up there.
- Is exiting the grounds made easier by having the car parked away from the tents? Generally no, since your car won't be away from the tents, there's no advantage there. Unless maybe you park in the day-parking area and haul your gear from there to tent only. I have no experience with day parking so can't tell you much about that, but I have a feeling that might be your best (only?) bet if you need to be out early Sunday.
- Is the Tent-only space likely to fill up? If so, how quickly and is there a "at earliest" time that you can arrive to set up? I haven't personally camped there before (though I probably will this year) so I don't have any personal experience. But from what I've read it tends to fill up by early afternoon Thursday. I think the earliest you can get into tent-only is around 7 AM or thereabouts.
I don't know your situation, but if there's some way to work it so you can stay till Monday, or at least late Sunday, you should do it. Besides the logistical trouble of getting out during the day Sunday, you're not going to want to leave.

Day Parking...
Is it possible to request a pass for it, carry your items from there over to Tent-only, and leave your car there for the weekend? Is there an advantage to this if needing to leave early afternoon Sunday?
My wife and I were sent to day parking a few years ago by mistake. It is WAY WAY out there. We decided to stay in day parking all weekend, who's to say when a day ends and when it begins at Bonnaroo? We had no problems out there other than the 45 minute walk to Centeroo. No threats of towing or anything. Plus we had more space than we could possibly need and our exit on Sunday PM was E-A-S-Y.
If you're worried about being able to leave at a certain time, day parking is the way to go. (Just be hush-hush about your tent-only plans)
^^^well - tent Only normally opens around 7 - last year I belive Tent Only was a smaller section due to a bigger VIP section because of The Police
sooo - I guess what I am saying is that it depends on alot of factors - i would say if you want a place right at the front (which IMO is not a great idea because of people walking up and down the road all night long) you would need to be there early - maybe

I will be coming by plane, post nashville landing and taking the shuttle and should be at bonnaroo by like 6pm it looks like ... am I fucked for tent only? i mean, since I don't have a vehicle I assumed that would be the easiest place to camp (and my preference anyway)
