Quick.......I need help........my girlfriend says shes got a screen tent that is about 12 feet by 12 feet. I'll be in a car that's about 5 feet wide and I figure when we're pulling in to our camp site i'll just try to park a little further away than normal from the person i'm supposed to park next to.........just to give myself space to set up this screen tent.
my question is........do you think that's doable? I've given myself extra space in the past......but I just want some outside opinions. Is 12 x 12 too big ya think? I know it's how fast you set it up and stuff but I don't want to bring it and not use it.......or not bring it and regret taht decision. lol.

I was hoping that........I just haven't ever set up a screen tent. Usually it's just a sleeping tent and a tarp of some kind that we put together. This year i'm looking forward to being able to relax in the shade and not have to duck under the tarp. Thanks
I don't think it should be a problem.. generally neighbors are willing to help you out... i have brought a screen house in the past and had no problems... promise the people around you some shade and a beer and people instantly become supportive, not to mention much more friendly...
I am bringing a 14x14 shelter this year with a vent and without a screen... i have felt in the past like the screen house has trapped heat inside and made us bake inside the screen... however, shelter is necessary so get it whatever way you can!

Do we have another thread started up this year about what they said in the AMA? I'd really like to see if anyone knows if the screens are under or outside of the tents?
