This is on this week's announcements on the Bonnaroo website. Seems they decided to go ahead and go the debit card route - interesting. Work blocks the sight for me tho - says it is a gambling website.

I will have plenty of cash as usual and stay away from this Facecard nonsense.
What I want to know is does this mean that more vendors will be accepting plastic. I hardly ever use cash in the real world so being able use plastic at Roo would be great.
I just bring cash. That's what I'd recommend to everyone. Keep the majority of it in your car and take out what you think you'll need for each day. You also avoid ATM lines and fees
^Well I might do it put 50 bucks on one, and have it. If it does discounts at centeroo on water, and whatnot it might be worth it. Usually when I go to latenight I put 20-30 bucks in my pocket and put everything else away so I don't lose it. I don't know though the lack of alcohol though means I would still need cash I guess.
ya know, i just signed up for it, and now see the fees. i cant find anyway to cancel it. if they send me the card, and i just throw it away, am i all set? lol

well, this is different... but SO GLAD I did not get any of the non-refundable "Woodstock Dollars" that MOST of the vendors at WS'94 didn't want any part of... well, maybe just one would'a been good... for a souveneir
CASH ALWAYS WORKS... and plastic never works... um... in the field
