Hey guys, my 4th 'ROO. Quick question for everyone. I haven't bought a tent in a long long time, and I would love some advice on what kind to get. Everyone says you can't find a decent, solid tent for under $100. What is the BEST kind of tent for between $70 and $100????? I would love some feedback guys, I need to buy it soon! THANKS

I bought a Coleman 4 man tent for $39.00 on sale from Sports Authority...it looks all right...we'll see. I'm bringing my Eureka 2 man tent as back up though/
I got my pink tent at Dick's and I know it wasn't more than $50. It's 7' x 9' and has stood up to high wind, heavy down pours, and general festy abuse...
I was looking pretty seriously at this one from Target, a Coleman, before I decided I wanted more room (it's 9' x 7'; $71). Everyone I've talked to who has bought it really likes it!
If anyone is in dire need of a tent but can't afford it hit me up. I just upgraded my old tent to a Northface Rock 22. So I'll let the old tent go, for free to a needie soul. I think I paid about 200bucks for it about 6 years ago. It's a older Eureka 2 man tent. It's still in very good shape but it doesn't have a removeable rainfly. The rainfly is built into the tent. Only thing you'll probably need to get are new tent stakes(the small ones). I have all the original ones but some are rather bent. If someone wants it I'll waterproof it before roo and bring it along.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't respond to me if you just want an extra tent. I want it to go to someone who really needs it for primary shelter.
My company does the sportsmans catalogs. There is a sale on a quick set tent that is really cool. I bought one for the kids just because it's super fast to set up. Get them before they are gone. They are 79.00 and its a six person tent made by Mac sports. Just use keyword Mac sports and it will come up. Its sets up in 60 seconds.
. also right next to the tents were straw cowboy hats, was very convenient.
