With all the rain and springytime temperatures around here lately, lots of plants have been gettin' it on. If you have seasonal allergies, start taking your everyday allergy stuff like claritin, etc... now, and don't forget to bring extra allergy meds for that one camping buddy that didn't think it would be this bad. My seasonal allergies usually aren't that bad in the springtime/early summer around here, but this year has been brutal! Neti pots also help.
Ah, Neti Pots.... Oh yeah, I swear by mine. Except I use this plastic "Sinus Rinse" bottle with packets of saline rinse. Used this all winter while working in an office where almost everyone had the same cold. Didn't get sick once. Went through college while rinsing every morning and night, never got sick.
And yeah, allergies this year have been ungodly brutal.

Add me to that list. I never paid much attention, but it's been pretty bad this year. The fiancee has been pushing the generic allergy meds on me for weeks now.
If anyone out there starts taking allegy meds, make sure to do it EVERY DAY. You could make it worse if you take it a few days and then stop. Give yourself several days before the roo for it to kick in-- in fact, START NOW.
Neti pots are just... weird, IMO. I'm allergic to pollen - it makes my eyes extremely itchy during the spring, makes me sneeze, and gives me a runny nose. As sure as the flowers will bloom every spring, I'll be there, popping Claritin like Tic-Tacs.*
*not really, I know you're only supposed to take it once a day, but you get the picture.
