Are there any decent brands of vodka that can be bought in a plastic bottle rather than one made of glass? I won't be drinking the vodka straight. It will be mixed with V8 or bloody mary mix.
Seriously. Quack Vladimir and Red Bull. 5 Roo's and I have never gotten sick. I passed out and missed Metallica and woke up just in time for Jacket. Never ever again.

Burnett's was what I lived off of in college, funny enough the regular sized bottles are glass and go for about $7 - the handles, however, are almost twice the size for $13-$14 and are in plastic, with many yummy flavors!
I'm not sure what brand we're going to use for our jello-shots, but hopefully something good and strong. Maybe Burnett's.
Each jello shot will be in 3 oz. containers and have a little over an ounce of liquor in each shot. Were still negotiating the price, but were thinking $5 a shot or 5 for $20.
what do you guys think about the pricing? They're big jello shots, but I'm not trying to rip anyone off or anything and we're going to barter too if we can.
how much does the bottle cost - how much are you making off the bottle - thats how you know if youre ripping people off

I like the Jello shots idea...mainly because jello shots are one of the only ways I can ingest vodka without wanting to stick my finger down my throat post comsumption. However, Jack and Coke or Jack on the Rocks is the way to go for me. Whiskey trumps every other liquor in my book
Our campsite buddies showed us something they called "Yucca" at our first Bonnaroo and we've brought at least one recipe every year since.
I may not have the right quantities or thermos size off the top of my head, I'll confirm and correct if necessary.
You need a 3 gallon (I think...maybe 5 or 1?) thermos type cooler. Pour in one bottle of vodka 750ml (that one I remember) Halve 10(?) lemons. Squeeze them a bit into the thermos but then drop them in. 1 cup (?) sugar. Fill the rest with ice and close.
Here's the important part. You have to shake it vigorously and constantly for at least 20 minutes. A couple of rules: 1) If you want to drink, you have to take a turn shaking and 2) everyone drinks from the jug. No cups.
Its very communal, it tastes like yummy lemonade, and is a great way to head out from the campsite. Just get a lot of people involved and be careful!
100 proof Smirnoff in a plastic traveller. I think they make both a 750 mL and a 375 mL.
Smirnoff Red Label is pretty good, that's what I'll be drinking. Also, I'm still looking for a decent rum in a plastic container - if you guys know of any, do tell!
admiral nelson is just a generic captain morgans.... not bad at all and u can get the liters of it for around 15 bucks here...
The cheapest and best flavored vodka that we drank last year was Burnett's Cherry Vodka. $12 for a handle? It's no Grey Goose, but honestly, the cherry flavor was pretty damn good! That's our V-Juice of choice for festivals, since we like to comply with the plastic bottle policy.
That's what we used for our Arch-Front shot pong tournaments!
the quality of the liquor isn't as much of a concern when I'm mixing, especially in something like a bloody mary. I plan on getting a half-gallon of some cheap vodka and then making my world famous Bloody Mary mix... mmmm 'Roo Breakfast. But as per your question, Burnetts and Smirnoff will do you dandy
On a hot bonnaroo day there is not much better than mixing a little vodka with that fresh squeezed lemonade they sell inside the fest. A nice refreshing midday cocktail to keep the mind limber and the body cool.
