This is my first 'Roo and I'm travelling solo; since I don't own any camping equipment (and have little to no camping experience), no car, etc, I chickened out of the prospect of sharing port-a-potties with 60,000 other people and decided to book the VIP hotel package at the HoJo (includes 24 hour shuttle service from hotel to 'Roo grounds). I got a PDF receipt when I booked the package, but it indicates that 'tour documents' will be sent out ~ 3 weeks before 'Roo.... and I haven't received any yet.
Has anyone else booked this package? Have you received the 'tour documents'? I've received my regular GA 'Roo ticket, but I'm assuming that the 'tour documents' will include my VIP upgrade ticket, as well as my airport-hotel-airport transfer tickets (and info about when/where to find the shuttle at the airport), etc.... Is this a correct assumption?
Last year I got the VIP upgrade/shuttle package. I think they started shipping that stuff around the same time as the tickets, which would be now. It seemed like everyone else got their shuttle tickets, but I hadn't gotten mine. So I called.
They mailed the VIP packages out at a later date. They told me if I didn't have it by ???day, to call back. I think it came the next day. I'd say give the tour company a call and see when it was mailed.
