So... somehow my crew screwed up and we all wound up with VIP tix but no one actually bought the VIP pass for our RV. Boy do we feel stupid. I know that VIPs are sold out via official channels, but I"m curious if there's any hope of buying a VIP RV pass at the gate... I imagine there are at least a handful of RV's that show up in the VIP line each year without a pass -- I"m hopeful that thye have a few extras on hand for sale... but maybe I'm being overly optimistic.
Wondering if anyone has had direct experience, or heard from someone about this.
How can I buy a RV pass if I’ve already bought my festival ticket? To purchase an RV Pass, or RV + Companion Pass (to be included with your ticket order with no additional handling fees), please email bonnarootix@musictoday.com to receive instructions. Please note you must have already purchased tickets for the Bonnaroo Music Festival 2008 to use this purchase method for your RV or RV + Companion Pass.
Yes, contact them ASAP! You won't get in without that pass. Last year you would have been fine because they F'd up the passes so badly. This year will be different, don't chance it.

I ordered a VIP ticket package and also an RV pass. But the agent at MusicToday told me a regular RV pass was all that I needed. There was no specific VIP RV pass. A normal RV pass in conjunction with VIP tickets = the VIP RV pass.
No, I think you are right....RV passes are RV passes...whether VIP or GA...they are all $125 dollars each so I think they are all the same no matter...it's just an RV upgrade to whatever ticket you have...it's the ticket that makes the difference and then you have an RV upgrade to that ticket.....but you HAVE to have an RV pass to get an RV into Roo...THAT is for sure...so make sure you get your hands on an RV pass BEFORE you show up or else you might not make it in with a camper, trailer or RV......
