Is this just for you or is there a group you're providing? As far as drinking water goes, I would think 3 gallons would be fine. There's water stations for refilling when in Centeroo so you'll really only need it when you're at the campsite.
If you plan on cooking though, don't forget to bring water for that as well. Sounds like you're set on water for yourself, Jacko
Well I'm not going. But last year I brought a case of bottles and a couple gallon jugs (for washing and stuff) and was good. I didn't want to carry too many bottles around with me when in Centeroo, so I mostly drank it at camp, then brought a couple bottles in with me, then refilled/bought once inside Centeroo
I bring at least one gallon of water per person per day just to drink as a mnimum. Add extra for other beverages, cooking, coffee, washing up, etc. for about double that as needed.
This usually lasts me through the weekend with refilling my personal water bottle with the free water in Centeroo during the day.
I likey my H2O... I've got 2 cases for my lonesome and ill-prepared friends. Also got a collapsible 5 gal jug for washing & refilling the solar shower.
4 cases for 2 people. Plus a gallon for coffee. I want to be in a position to share if someone needs it. My neighbors saved me last year on Sunday, when I came very close to serious dehydration (happened suddenly when a stomach thing hit me ; I wouldn't have been able to get to a water station as quickly as they were able to help). They provided ice, Gatorade and water. This year, I want to return the karma. Extra water and Gatorade powder for the two of us and anyone else around us who needs it. Bringing extra, if you have room, is never a bad idea!

i'm bringing a couple cases and a couple gallons for myself. if i have any extra space in the car i will bring more. it's always fun to help people out in need
I'm actually not planning on bringing any. I'll fill my camelbak daily and probably bring an empty container for the camp site, and fill them at the water stations. Water is HEAVY to carry into the camping only area. I guess if I were staying at my car I would bring some.
Also bottled water is just an awful creation and I like to avoid it as much as possible.

I'll be bringing two frozen Zephyrhills 3.5 spout containers. A 7 gallon emergency water jug filled for washing/solar shower. Assorted frozen bottled water/Fruit2O in the cooler
Last year for 4 of us we went a little over board and brought a total of 24 gallons of water. We dont normally bring that much, but if you have the room, I say bring as much as you can. Its water, not like it goes bad if you dont use it.
I have 48 20oz bottles of water and gonna have about 3 gallons for cooking/washing...Theres free water in Centeroo so if I run out its no big deal but I think I should be fine...
48 waters / 4 days = 12 bottles a day...I have cottonmouth alot and will at least drink 4 bottles per day just while eating...Like an above poster said...water don't expire
I finally started drinking the free water last year, and I have to say it wasn't bad. I'm flying in so space is limited, I'm probably going to bring just a couple bottles as backup. Also, I'm pretty sure I'm not going to have a cooler so I don't know where said water would go!
