my parents are supposed to be gifting me with $400 for the trip (my birthday is right after roo on the 21st), and $100 is having to go towards gas and food.
But my boyfriend and I are selling jello shots so hopefully that'll bring in some extra cash, because I don't want to be frugal at Roo, but I definitely want to come home with extra money!
I'll be taking about a 1000$ about 300 will go to my room in Nashville and Gas [for the trek from Pittsburgh] My wife and I will probably end up having 600$ to spend... I only am bringing breakfast food [sausage, bacon, eggs] for breakfast... and buying other meals in Centeroo or from campground vendors. Kinda sucked last year camping in BFE and wasting 2+ hours in the walk and cooking of meals.
Last years money situation was awesome... took 600$ ended up stopping in WV @ Wheeling Downs to stretch our legs, and within the 40 minute stop I won around 800$ on a Wheel of Fortune slot machine. Ended up having 1400$ ... [damn tho, 200$ went to corn, one of our other passengers was short on cash] Also got me a nice clean room about 45 minutes out of Roo on Sun. night.
Don't know if I have the luck to stop and win again this year...?
