You just wanna wait till they open the main entrance off the highway. Once that happens you'll get a decent camping spot. If you get rerouted off the highway and around on some backroads, you're gonna wind up in BFE.
I got in line at 10-10:30 last year (actually got through the gates at 2:30 though) and was in Camp Jabba the Hutt. It was a nice 2 minute walk, so thats the plan again this year.
