Now that gas has jumped over $10 a barrel today hit a new record high price of over 139 a barrel, we are all screwed. Just in time for everyone to hit the road to roo, we can expect gas to possibly increase about 50 cents a gallon in the very near future.

ugh this stinks.
Does anyone know if some of the towns in Tn hike up the gas prices right around Bonnaroo? I honestly can't remember from last year, but hopefully they won't
The EU raised interest rates. This further weakened the already collapsing dollar (thanks Bush) and caused this increase. Since oil is traded in dollars oil went up for us.
It's gonna get worse before it gets better. Untill we start paying our debts, we're screwed.
As my Inebriated buddy walks out of the Porto, he yells out, "Dude...I love this place...bonnaroo thinks about everything...they even put beer holders next to the toilet!"
Had to break it to him that that was the urnal. Good times good times!
omfg. According to ^that^, mine will cost almost ten times as much as your estimate, telix. Be grateful for your carpooling buds!
UGHH. So evil. Fucking insane. There are so many things going on right now in my world that have truly made me question going. I feel like anyone else with common sense, in my place, would not go. But I am determined to make my pilgrimage. And I've just never been one to use common sense effectively.

yeah they calculated that my 2001 civic gets 38 mpg....... not even close. i'd use that calculator with caution if you're using it to figure out $$$

Really? My 04 civic (manual) easily gets 38. I thought they were very close, 01s and 04s?
Remember that mileage is also a function of how well maintained your car is, how much you'll be carrying and whether you're a "steady" driver or one who accelerates and slows down repeatedly while driving. I'm hoping to employ cruise control for the majority of the trip.
