I'm gonna be coming south on I-24 from Illinois...anyone know where the last place I can get gas is before heading into 'roo? Would I be ok if I just filled up in Nashville?
Best place is one of two places. If you need supplies along with gas, best place is Exit 66B (Smyrna, Sam Ridley Parkway) Go down a mile or so and there's Kroger's on the right with fairly cheap gas and groceries. There's also a Home Depot and a Lowe's.
If you just need gas get off in Murfreesboro at Exit 78A and there's Kangaroo Market convenience store with usually the cheapest gas around.
There are plenty of places before and after these but these usually have the cheapest gas and least hassle getting on and off the Interstate.
