I was at this show and Dweezil and the band brought the house down. The crowd was really into the show and the energy from the band was amazing. Dweezil even had a cold but it didnt seem to affect his playing at all. Can't wait to dance the night away at roo.
Oh My God, I'd LOVE to hear that at the farm... I'm getting out my Bible, making a deposit in my Heavenly Bank Account and praying for that to happen. Nice.
I'm not sure how long the set was but I waiting on the setlist from Wakarusa this might tell us what to expect at bonnaroo. UPDATE: Unfortunately, due to weather, the ZPZ performance at Wakarusa Festival was cancelled.
It was my first time seeing Zappa Plays Zappa and really the most diverse comtemplation of zappa music I had heard, before I had only really listened to the hits but this show opened my eyes to the genius of Frank. Officially my favorite band ever now what a musical genius he was. I went to the used record store the next day and grab ten zappa albums.I wish he was still around o well the apple hasnt fallen far from the tree, Dweezil tears it up.
^OK... So, seeing as though they've an hour and a half at Roo, we can expect a significantly smaller setlist.
Yeah, I'd say that's right. At the Atlanta show tonight, they started right at 8 and ended at 10:45. I couldn't even begin to give you the setlist, but the show was amazing!
Of course, by the time you read this, you will probably already have seen the Roo show!
