I've read a million threads to try and figure out the answer I'm loooking for - so if I missed it - I apologize for starting this!
I'm worried my tent is going to be too big. It has two rooms - I just borrowed it from someone I know. NOW, everyone on here says that when you get to your spot to camp you stake out your camp area? I'm sure this is a stupid question, but how do you stake out your space?
Any additional info on how this works would be awesome. I went last year on a whim at the last minute. We got tickets from scalpers and camped in our car - arrived early Friday morning. I LOVE BONNAROO - I'm so excited and it's all I can think about, but this tent situation is stressing me out!!!
Just lay out your tent and your shade canopy so that territory is marked (see avatar ). Seriously, I think they just mean to claim the space you need even before you get everything set up. And be kind to your neighbors, it supposedly works wonders. Good luck!
As soon as you are parked, jump out and claim your space. Others have said that it's best to have your tent packed on top, so that as soon as you stop, you can jump out and grab your tent and lay it out. Be friendly with your neighbors and it shouldn't be a problem (especially if you bring a large shade tarp to share ).
