Ok so one of the main things most people bring to Roo is some type of sunscreen... I have trouble figuring out which one I prefer the most... I think this year ill be sporting a nice SPF50-70... I prefer the least greasy sunscreen as possible...
What kind of sunscreen are you guys bringing this year?

I gotta try some of the Neutrogena Ultra Sheer I have heard nothing but good things... Also they make a sport thats supposed to be even less greasy and longer lasting when sweating...
I wear 70 or 85 on my face AND wear a hat, but I use a spray for my body (either Neutrogena Cooling Mist or Coppertone Sport). The smell of the Neutrogena in the heat sort of makes me nauseated, though.
This year I'm using Hawaiian Tropic 30+ Sport Spray. In previous years I used Coppertone spray 30 and it ate my solar nails and broke my hair at the scalp, so keep that in mind if you bought some.
I'm gonna pick up a spray sunblock in SPF 15... if I wear 30 I don't get color at all and I want that tell tale Bonnaroo tan, as unhealthy as that may be. So I'm just gonna reapply my 15 religiously. Don't worry, no Afro Sheen for me!

LOL! Thank you! One time I looked over at a friend of mine (who had really long dreddies and is from Nigeria) and said "Dude, your activator is totally stinking up my car". He looked at me all puzzled and asked "How the fuck does a white guy with a shaved head even know what activator IS?"
I'll be using banana boat with aloe spray-on 50. I have a small tube of 85 to rub on my tattoos.

I choose my sunscreen according to the scent .... So many sunscreens now are unscented, but I *love* the traditional coconuty sunscreen smell, to me it is the best part about wearing sunscreen! (I think 'cause it reminds me of the beach). So basically I pick whatever sunscreen I can find with SPF 30 that still has that scent... I've been using Coppertone 30 waterproof sunblock lotion recently.....
So did everyone get pretty tan at Roo? I was disappointed... I usually tan well but a couple applications of SPF 15 a day kept me from getting tan hardly at all! The sun was not nearly as strong as it has been. So I guess that Afro Sheen girl fared okay, at least
Spray-on sunscreen is definitely on the packing list for next year. It completely skipped my mind when buying supplies. Luckily my buddies came through with some.

I'm still sporting a pretty decent farmer's tan, three weeks after the fact. I thought I had gotten really tan when I first looked in the mirror after Bonnaroo - then I took a shower and realized half of it was just grime.
