Probably the wrong place to ask this, but I'm not into any other interwebs message boards...and I know I've seen some metal fans around here.
So I was chilling with my buddy tonight drinking some beer and we ended up watching Metalocaplypse on DVD. I had seen a couple episodes on Adult Swim before and liked it, but after watching like ten in a row completely buzzed I was pretty hooked. I just downloaded the album and I have to say it might be some of the best metal I've ever heard honestly. I just really really like it. Anybody else?

Not so much into metal, but Dethklok is a pretty damn good show.
AdultSwim: Quality entertainment for the corn'ed generation.
Yup yup yup, that's exactly how I feel.. I don't really listen to metal, I have the album though and it is good....it makes me giggle more than anything lol I heart that show a lot
Watchin' a stretch of road, miles of light explode. Driftin' off a thing I'd never done before. Watchin' a crowd roll in. Out go the lights it begins. A feelin' in my bones I've never felt before...
I'm watching Home Movies as I read this. Hilarious.
(Home Movies= The Genius Brendon Small's project before Metaloc. . . If you've not seen it, you must. Trust me, you MUST).
I love Home Movies and I love Metalocalypse. My boyfriend is huge into metal, and I actually went with him to a Dimmu Borgir show not too long ago...I kept laughing because I kept picturing these SUPER METAL guys doing everything normal, like washing the dishes, walking their dog, etc etc etc....which is pretty much like Metalocalypse. The music is pretty good too! Apparently the guy who voices the lead singer is somebody from Cannibal Corpse...? But I could be wrong.

Yup Venture Bros. has my heart.
I could never get into Home Movies though, I've gotten a lot of slack about it and it has been a while since I tried watching it, I trust my fellow inforoosters enough to check it out again.....

I'm kinda so-so on 'em (and metal in general) but my kids are obsessed with Dethklokk. I do love their cover of the Duncan Hills coffee commercial. It would have been so easy to pick Folgers, but somehow Duncan Hills is way funnier.
