Is it possible to load all of your stuff into a car topper and have a few people hop out and take it off while you drive past Tent Only on your way to camp? We were going to go park then walk back but this way we wouldnt have to carry all of our stuff. Any insights?
Not likely. If you happen to drive by Tent Only then maybe this would be possible (maybe not depends on whose directing traffic) but the odds of driving by the entrance are not that good.
at 3 a.m. on Thursday morning - they are not gonna let you stop - they will not open tent only until the sun comes up on Thursday morning - it cuts down on the possibility of someone being run over by a car in the dark with the dust from the gravel road.
a good idea in theory, but not going to work in practice. it seems like the only vehicles that drive by the tent only roads are related to roo, not festival goers.

My party is planning on just parking in Day Parking, carrying over our things to tent only, and leaving our car in the lot. Hope it all works out 'cause we have a flight out of Knoxville at 7pm on Sunday...
Not that this will really help you by now, but maybe someone else will find this helpful for next year - I suggest hailing one of those Bonnaroo taxi golf carts if you have a lot of stuff. That's what I did. It's $5 a seat, and it was some of the best-spent cash all weekend.
Actually, we arrived around 3am Thursday morning. Had all the tents and chairs loaded on a Wagon. Pulled off to the side on our way to be parked, let the girls out and traveled on. Bad news was they wouldn't let the girls set up camp until 8am and we got shuttled all the way to the far southeast portion of the farm. We then loaded the rest of the stuff up to take over to tohe tent only and had to camp on the side of the road with many other people until 8am. It pretty much sucked that morning. However, it was all worth it in the end.
