yeah the pair thing seems silly, but i'm guessing it also has to do with getting 1 parking pass per pair... they want to maximize the space. it's like VIP carpooling! more folks can fit in, etc. with at least 2 to a camp site, rather than a bunch of singles
Maybe a solution would be to use the day parking, find a friend that meet with you before going in the gate to haul your stuff in? lol or find the folks in VIP with the golf cart.
It is a bit wierd, but I'm guessing it might cut down on ebay scalpers as well.
We treat mishaps like sinking ships and I know that I don't want to be out to drift Well I can see it in your eyes like I taste your lips and They both tell me that we're better than this
I was thinking the same thing, Jason...they should at least allow you the ability to park an extra car somewhere in VIP, even if you don't camp with it (a parking "lot" type of thing). Hell, I've never been VIP before this year, though, so I'm not sure it's possible.

i think its Sh*tty as hell, i went VIP last year alone, but I had accidentlly bought a package from Target travel agency thinking I was buying a VIP ticket, iwas intoxicated a bit @ 3 AM and bought through the internet, but anyways, I was in a dillemna until the last minute because I was driving and not flying , and I was wondering if I was going to have to park my car @ the Nashville Airport, Do Dayparking and haul my stuff to Vip, but when I went to pick up my VIP upgrade, I was lucky enough to get a VIP parking pass because they had an Extra one. Talk about being lucky, and it was my first time going, but yes i think they should just sell individual VIP tickets, because not everyone wants to bring people with them to share a campsite,or have to deal with the hassle of selling their extra ticket on E-Bay. this was and still is my personal vacation for now on, so I choose to not bring any friends, and plus I am single.

Not that they will do anything, but I sent an email to the Bonnaroo people about this and the fact they just need to sell single VIP tickets. It is a huge hassle for people who are going on their own, or have an odd number of people in their party. I told them due to that inconvenience they will not be getting my business as a VIP customer.
I got an email back saying they were sorry for the inconvenience and it would be passed on to the appropriate people for review for next year.
It worked out well for me because it's a buddy and I going VIP, but I really agree with you guys. I see no reason why they should be sold in pairs. It certainly doesn't help sales.
