last time I checked most packs were just under $4 here in Virginny if that helps at all... I don't know the other states too well, but I do know VA is a tobacco lovin' state so they would logically be one of the cheaper I think...

Hi, I hope I am not too late...Just wanted you to know that I am from Va. and I took a trip to WVa. just 10 days ago...their cigs were a good $.75-$1.00 cheaper than ours. I even made the comment while there that I couldn't understand why, seeing as how at home I am closer to Philip Morris (my brand). So, if you can hold out...buy your cigs in West Va. Travel Safe...See ya there!!!
Yeah, I smoke Marlboro Milds and I live in Tullahoma, TN, and I work at a grocery store. Poster above me is right, the cigs are about $3.30-$3.45, somewhere around there. Cheapest brand Food Lion carries, atleast, is either USA Gold or 1st Choice. Tobacco Outlets are a different beast entirely, and that's where you run into all these brands that you never thought existed. I'll tell you for sure though, Grand Prix's are the bomb. If I couldn't get my Milds, I'd go to a gas station or outlet and get those most definately.
I know it wasn't a choice and its already happened, but any chance I get, I swing by Kentucky. If you aren't picky, you can pick up a pack of cigs (forget which brand) for less than $2.50.. its rediculous! I got a carton of Camel Filters for $28 on my way down to Roo.
I flew in, so I can't really say - but cigs were dirt cheap in Nashville compared to Boston! Up here, it's usually about $5.15 or so - so I was shocked when I saw my standard brand for less than $3.50.
My Parliament Lights run $5.75-5.95/pack here at home. Wisconsin's per-pack tax went up by a whole dollar the beginning of the year.
I picked up a carton somewhere along the way back (Murfreesboro? or somewhere NW of Nashville) for $39-something. I probably could have gone cheaper, but I didn't want to settle for 100s.

Wisconsin was cheaper than most until they added another buck onto taxes, the local reservations are the way to go if you know someone lol, good thing i dont smoke or id be broker than i already am
And yeah, that new tax here sucks. We smokers are like low-hanging fruit for politicians. Yet the tax on alcohol in this state hasn't increased once in probably 30 years. I don't even get to benefit from any of this medical care I'm funding.
