camp equipment really is you get what you pay for. but many many people use wall-mart tents for roo and are just fine. the forecast doesn't look too bad, and your not backpacking the Appalachian trail for a month. you should be cool. make sure you have a ground cloth (tarp) to put under it.

If you've got room in the car, bring both! That way you can use the big one if you end up with tons of room and if you end up unlucky with the campsite, you'll have the small one too so you don't have to stress about it.

Don't worry too much about the quality, just about all tents that are not super expensive $400 ones from REI & the like are made at the same factory in China regardless of the brand.
"That's the big thing about education. People can be book smart, but not really intelligent about anything else. A lot of times they just taking in all this information and regurgitate it. It's much more important to process it and personalize it. To apply it to your world, to your life. You have to walk the walk, or you can't really report about it honestly."
