Does anyone know the fastest way to get there from Charlotte? Last year I was coming from Boone and went a different way. Mapquest and Yahoo are telling me to go down to Atlanta and then up towards Chattanooga and will take 6-7 hours but that seems a bit out of my way. Anyone know of a faster route?
Seeing as I'm meeting fiends outside of Chattanooga and trying to avoid Bushy branch Rd, seems like I may just have to go ahead and do this unless someone knows something much faster.
I am also leaving from Charlotte. We are going through ATL as well. That is the way we went last year. It seems to be the best way to go. ONE LOVE.....

Go through Atlanta...we're leaving tomorrow morning at like 4:30 am and we did that 2 years ago and didn't really hit too much traffic near ATL. Last year we went through the mtns and it seemed like it took forever and when we finally got to where they dump you onto bushybranch near the main entrance...the troopers forced us back on the hwy going the wrong direction so we could get back in line 10 miles away going back towards bushy branch..if that makes any sense.
