That must have been some show. I wish I was into Phish at that time. The Garden seems to bring out the best out of performers from what I have seen (Metallica,DMB,Billy Joel, Coldplay)This will be my 9th tour of MSG.

I don't post very much, but I am on these boards all the time and feel like I know all of you! And right now is the perfect time to introduce myself. I'm always here but don't really post much. Everyone here seems awesome though and I can't wait to share my new years eve with everyone here! I got my 4 tickets, section 131, row b, seats 13 to 10.

Got 2 tix. me and the girlfriend will be attending and getting our faces melted off.
Pretty far back in section 228 but from past experience and the "virtual point of view" on the MSG website tells me it's not a bad spot. We'll be far back but have a nice view of the stage. I'm just looking for some beers and a show. Should be 3+ hours of awesomeness.

also......anyone know how tight security is at MSG? as in smoking wise? (and i'm not talking cigs). I've gotten away with it at Nassau Coliseum but figured MSG would be pretty risky. Let me know. Anyway see yall there

My bad for starting another thread on this earlier... but yea, I'm going. First time ever at MSG, too!
I got two separate pairs of tickets, one for my gf and I and another for a couple friends... not sure which to keep for myself, and which to let my friends have... one set is one on the floor, section nine, the other is balcony, section 126.
2009 can't come soon enough, but at least i'm seeing them in september too.

Count me in!! Got two tix on the floor in section 12. And itrainmonkeys, to give you some recent experience with getting in to MSG, I went to Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers 10 days ago and did not receive a pat-down.
Also got a pair to Sigur Ros at the United Palace Theater in September. My two favorite shows from Roo went on sale the same time for shows in NYC. It's been a great day!

Wooz you and Troo were my neighbors at Roo! I was the guy who would crawl out of my tent and you guys were the first thing I saw (the guy who missed the breakfast). You really should come, this show is going to be undescribable (<- word?)!!!
Hey everyone my name is Scott and i just joined this site today. Ive been reading everything on here for the past two years and have been to the past two roo's. This past year the band i was most pumped to see was MMJ. But somehow i got some weird bug bite on my ankle and i had a hardcore allergic reaction to it and had to go to the medical tent and because of that i only caught about 40 mins of MMJ's set.... biggest bummer of this years roo or for a matter of fact all the concerts ive been to. But than i saw they were playing MSG and luckily yesterday for the presale i scooped up two floor seats in section 9. So i guess this makes up for missing pretty much their whole set at roo. Really pumped for new years this year!

Hi all, i've posted on here before a little but never formally introduced myself as this was my first roo this year. Anyways, i'm Jay and will be rocking out with all of you on new years. If the roo and rcmh is any indication than this show should be legendary. Section 103 row b for me gotten in yesterdays presale. Had to work this morning so couldn't even try for an upgrade. Got two seats even though I have no idea who I will be attending with. Its still a ways off though but it will be a night to remember. ;D

Here's what I'm feelin', were counting down the new year and when the clock strikes 12 everything goes dark.....ooooh scary....all of a sudden we hear the cymbals...what could it be?...then the lights go on as everyone rocks out to like a 20 minute version of One Big Holiday.
i upgraded my 303 section to section 7 this morning, so pumped... mmj and sigur ros were my top 2 concerts at roo.... i wish i could buy sigur ros tickets today but just graduated and need to find a job after i get back from europe for a month and gathering of the vibes..may just wait and buy a ticket when it get closer to sept or the night of from someone some how...

i tried to get tickets to sr today but all they had left was balc and after the roo performance, it wouldn't even come close
