First of all I just wanna say wutsup to everyone. I haven't been bustin up the inforoo for almost a year now and kinda miss it. Plus with Roo going on right now I need an outlet for my frustrations of the fact that I am not there right now. Hope everyones doing good.
Okay so I just wanna say that last year after Roo we had an amazing time but ended up spending ridiculous amounts of money and so my girlfriend and I decided not to go this year. Worst decision ever. At first I saw the lineup and wasn't that impressed but when a couple months before Roo came I started thinking it doesn't matter who plays... it's Roo. Damn was I right. This lineup/schedule is amazing and I can't believe I ever thought it would be anything but. So pretty much I'm incredibly utterly absolutely painstakingly regretting my decision not to attend Bonnaroo this year and WILL BE ATTENDING FROM NOW ON! Lol. So I was just wondering if anyone else decided not to go and is kicking themselves in the ass right now?
P.S. I do get to be kindly distracted by Tom Petty this weekend in Mass.

Yeah I need to save to. But if I had planned it from last year I could have had enough money. I'm blaming W. He's an easy escape goat. Damn you W for not letting me attend Bonnaroo.

not at all really. maybe I will be after I see the biscuits setlist but I doubt it. I'm more sad about that fact that I don't want to be there to be honest.
neh, can't regret my decision. just had a baby a couple months ago, so it was nearly impossible to go this year. bonnaroo takes a lot of money and planning, and i just wasn't up to it during my pregnancy.
I'm still torn. Spent most of yesterday at the blue room and was feeling pretty bad. But I've got a foot injury that would've made life very difficult. Still, I could get a cane....... Yeah, I wish I was there. Plus there's not a lot of "must see" acts this year for me to stress over so I could've had a pretty relaxed time just going with the flow....much to be said for that....
This weekend has been rough, like I knew it would be, but regret is definately not the word for it. I know I made the right decision. My excitement for Rothbury is definately getting me through the home sickeness for Roo

I'm torn also. I was really unimpressed with this years line-up, other than some stand outs. But it's been something i've done the past 4 years, so it seems like i should be there. The really bad this is like 2 weeks ago I had looked on ebay and could've gotten a ticket for like $100 and then hitched a ride with my friends. So yeah...i'm pretty regretful....Sigur Ros tonight that's something special...and i won't be there....
is part of me disappointed that i'm not there? of course! it's only natural but REM/modest mouse/the national on wednesday totally made up for it (um, amazing). plus, i'm stuck cat-sitting for the fam for the next week and a half!
hope everyone is having a blast. can't wait to hear/read all the stories...
I thought I would be way more bummed out this weekend about missing roo than I am, I think it helps that most of my friends who usually go didn't go this year.

I was kind of regretting it a bit, but there's enough about it that I don't miss (blisters, exhaustion, heat) to kind of balance out the things that I do miss. Plus, it helps that I saw Zappa Plays Zappa Thursday night, and I have a bunch of other great shows lined up for the rest of the summer (like David Byrne and The Mars Volta, both of whom I would rather see than any of the acts playing Roo this year). Also, I got to watch Les and Gogol Bordello on the Blue Room feed. So, overall, I'd have to say, no regrets from me.

i regret not being there for pearl jam, and that's not something i ever thought i'd say, but the more i read about that show, the more i'm like...damn.
I wasn't too sad about my decision until just now when I saw the MMJ setlist....
My thoughts exactly! If Pearl Jam would have put on a better set I would have been real upset but since it wasn't anything special to a die hard like me (besides W.M.A. in its entirety) I am fine with everything.
I have a feeling I am going to regret not going to Rothbury but I just can't pass on The FLips on the 4th! UFOs and fireworks!!!
I'm not regretting my decision at all. Sure, I would have loved to see B.B. King and Solomon Burke, but I don't think Bonnaroo was worth the time/effort/price this year.
