sooo, first off Governors Island is an awesome venue, you have take a ferry to get there and the view is amazing there is only one ferry tho going back and forth tho so there is a bit of down time getting there and back. The venue its self is very nice, enclosed greeen grassy field but still a lot of room but smaller than I expected the stage is prob about the same size of the Irving Plaza stage but with awesome lights. COPS everywhere on the island but not so many in the actual concert area I was eating corn all night with no problems and I only heard of one person having a prob. Now, Moe. rocked the hell out and also got into these really interessting and jazzy psychadelic jams that everyone in the crowd getting down hard. I really need someone to explain something to me tho, why is that bands will play an amazing show and then encore with a peice of shit cover like "I wanna be sedated" please fucking spare me at least I made the first ferry leaving tho. all in all awesome show encore sucked balls almost ruined it for me but I'll get over it as soon as I download that recording tho encore=deleted.
