one of my buddies just called me from roo and says that through a serious of amusing events he ended up with a Guest Pass at the festival.
problem is, he has no idea what it's good for. anyone have any suggestions?
from what i know, it's something like a VIP pass, but not exactly. i think it'll get him into all the VIP areas and probably backstage as well - but never having been in VIP i'm not sure what to him there is back there that he should check out.
anyway, i'm rambling, but if anyone has any info it would be much appreciated.

Guest pass is the way to go. Camping is behind which stage in the trees, the only shaded camping at bonnaroo. You get access to VIP seating in the bleachers, but not to the VIP hospitality tents or VIP campground, but that is ok because the guest camping is better. Last year we were guest and camped in the same area as SPIN Magazine, we met several artist, reporters, producers and other very interesting people. As far as inside the venue the sky is the limit, but timing is everything. Some shows you can get on stage others you can't, but my advice is if you want to see a show on or beside the stage get there early for they only let a limited number of people on stage, last year we got on stage to see The Beastie Boys. We had no problem getting back stage at the tents but they run a pretty tight ship on the main stages. We have been VIP for the previous 4 years and it is great, but I would choose guest a pass any day.

I stayed here my first year. My only problem was that I got there late on THursday night. All spots were taken, we ended up in front of some RV's and kind of in the traffic lane. THat sucked cause when I was in the tent all I heard were generators for the RV's. I wanted to go out and shut the engine down a couple of times.
THey have showers, which do have that lovely sulfur water smell, but it felt great. You are close to the stages and do have access to lots. Remember its not an All Access pass, but its good.
My advice is to get there early if you can and pick out the best space. Remember its under the trees here, tick spray is recommended.

If anyone out there has an extra Guest Pass or Guest laminate(or more), I would pick that up. My buddies and I had them in 2008 and couldn't have had a better time. Name your price! Shoot me an e-mail at OsmosisJones14@hotmail.com or text me at 614.537.2870. Thanks!

VIP doesn't hold a candle to guest pass, especially since you have to pay an extra $200 per person for the food package, that used to be free. The camping is better in guest, shaded, you still get access to vip bleachers. I have been both ways and would pay an extra 50 for guest over vip every time. A part of the money from the auction went to charity so that also makes me feel a little better about dropping $1525 for 2 tickets.

I won two tickets from Music Allies. Tickets should be here tomorrow. Has anybody else won from them before? I'm really hoping guest vouchers are included.
I have a guest pass and parking. my questions is, I have a few friends who are going GA. Are they going to be allowed to come to my camp at all? We were all originally going together in GA but I got lucky and now we're going to be separated, but we still all want to be together at some point. I know I can just go hang out in GA camping too, but we're so much closer to centeroo, it would be more convienient if they could come to my camp too for a while. Any info would be great. thanks
____Leaving Chicago 9pm Wendesday_______ can't . freakin. wait.

I've had guest passes in the past and it gets you back to artist compound that is behind Which Stage. However it does not get you into the Artist Bar area. You have to have an artist pass for that.
You can get a guest pass from an artist that is playing Bonnaroo. That is how I have always gotten mine.
I just found out that this year in order to camp in guest camping a GUEST CAMPING CAR PASS is needed. If anyone has an extra Guest camping pass my FABULOUS FRIEND and I would greatly appreciate it.
Just won 2 guest passes for Roo. No parking pass was included. If anyone has a pass on them I would greatly appreciate it. We can discuss a price. You can email me at dbrown17.db@gmail.com
