Major karma to everyone on this board. Thanks to all of the great suggestions we read here, we had a great first 'Roo.
Without you, we wouldn't have been prepared with sheets to hang on our tent for shade, dry ice and freezing jugs of water (which were still frozen on Sunday). We wouldn't have known to bring TP to Centeroo (which came in handy MANY times)!
We also wouldn't have known about the awesomeness that is the mozzadilla.
I second that! And so many people found me and introduced themselves, so very cool. 07 and 08 have been the best InfoRoo years ever... can't wait for 09!

Inforoo saved my trip, i wouldve been an unprepaired mess if i didnt read these boards every day, plus i woudnt have learned about what bands to seeeeee, thanks
Me too! I want to thank everyone here! We had an unfreakinbelievable first time and it all has to do with being prepared.
We were ready for just about anything, and we got it. Hot beating sun, pounding rain, cool nights and muggy hot mornings. We knew which way to put our tarps, what food to look for and how to handle security. Drink lots of water, sunscreen, all the basics that you can so easily forget.
Also, on the drive down, I was diligent in going the speed limit and following ALL traffic rules. We saw so many people pulled over with all their Roo camping stuff out on the grass. That was just a bummer.
I knew it was going to be a blast! Thanks again to all you guys who post and put up ideas and mistakes. Everyone was so helpful and I know for a fact it made our trip the great one it was.
So I just stumbled upon the Inforoo community through some serendipitous selection of tent location but you all were so nice, I felt like I had been adopted. I had a blast and I'm so glad to have met up with all you wacky and wonderful people. I hope to see you all next year!
Pretty much what everyone else has said... you Inforoosters not only helped me prepare by letting me know what to bring, what to expect, what to do and what not to do, etc., but you also made those long days between early February and mid June go by much quicker. I can't thank everyone enough - I'd be screwed without ya! You guys (and gals) are great people, and I look forward to seeing you again. And next year, I'm going to make it a priority to pitch my tent in Camp Inforoo.
