What were all the cameras filming for? Will there be a possibility to buy some kind of DVD of 2008 Bonnaroo? Also, I heard that some of the shows will be on itunes? When can we expect either?

The option to buy the DVD was along with the tickets...I'm thinking once they come out they'll probably sell them then too so you could still get one. I don't know when it's coming out although I feel like it was said at some point. And I have no clue about shows on itunes, that's news to me.
I believe that they said the DVDs were coming out prior to the holidays. The cameras were also for use by Fuse for their coverage. Personally, I hope that the DVD is not simply a retread of Fuse's coverage.
i hope the robert randolph kanye sucks chant makes it in there. i know that camera was directly focused on that, and that cameraman had the biggest smile on his face.
I would be shocked if it was. It's not in the festival's best interest. I'd be surprised if Kanye makes the DVD, too. RR's brief tirade is one of my most memorable moments, though! It's been mentioned in most press coverage, too. I wonder if there are reprecussions from being on Kanye's list or if that stuff died out with Tupac/Biggie et al?

Yeah... I made the mistake of not buying the DVD with my ticket. So now I'm stuck trying to find out how to buy it now as well.
The special edition is released to ticket buyers in Dec. Maybe then will regular issue be available to everyone else. I'm sure if they want the money then they will sell em.
Hehe.. the funniest part of the whole event was me waking up in the middle of the night after Pearl Jam hearing knuckle heads crying through the night about killing Kanye West... and then the next morning seeing the wonderful art on the walls.
I love Bonnaroo... can't wait till next year!!!!!!!

I can't wait for the DVD...my only concern is that they caught me out of my tree acting crazy and my wife will see it when we sit down to watch it together ha! oh well ;D
