This is a great lineup compared to the last couple years. Last year especially sucked and it is great they moved it back Downtown. Can't really be a "Street Scene" in the parking lot of a stadium (Qualcomm)! Very hyped for this I missed all but 4-5 songs of Ghostland at Roo and I will mos def. be checking them out here.

Just saw this, awesome lineup. I'm in for sure, never been to SD but have always wanted to check it out. How many stages is this? There are so many good acts that I'm worried about conflicts. Right now tix are only 75, so you can't go wrong there.
Also GZA and Diplo added. This festival has had a smorgasboard of different venues over the last 4-5 years but I think they usually have three stages. San Diego is a great city if you have never been here lots to do after the shows are over...

I'm in for sure, just bought my tick. Can't wait to check out your city jeremy, I'll be the dude in the front row of Atmosphere reppin' with my Twins jersey. This lineup just doesn't seem real, so good, so deep.
That's awesome. My GF is from Minneapolis - nice city but can't beat the year-around summer climate here. And these shows start late (I think 4) so you will have plenty of time to check out the city. The only thing I am worried about are conflicts the lineup is so deep there is bound to be plenty of them!
Ever since I saw the lineup, I've wanted to go to this soooo bad - esp since it's a couple days from my birthday! But alas even though ticket prices are reasonable travel & hotel costs to San Diego aren't
Yeah this festival usually ends early. It has been at so many different venues over the years that there hasn't been much that has been real consistent about this festival.
I'm thinking of making the trip out for this little shindig. I'm just worried of the inconsistence that I keep hearing about it. I don't want to fly cross country and end up at a crappy fest. If it's poorly managed the fest will suck, no matter how good the lineup.
I think that they are going to have a great festival this year. They finally brought this back Downtown where it should have been all along, after a three-year hiatus at different venues around SD. It seems like they have a new commitment to offering a stellar lineup after one last year that was less than inspiring (see below). Went to the venue last year for the Soco Music Fest and it is a great venue for this. And if all else fails, you are still in one of the best vacation cities in the world and there is no shortage of fun things to do.

Hmmmm....I do love San Diego. I get there three maybe four times a year. The quality of life there is fantastic. I might give this one a shot. I gotta start working on my logistics
Well, SD is not a cheap place as far cost goes from what I have been told. I think ithe price of the ticket depends on who is promoting ithe event. If you are refering to APW, you have to keep in mind that AEG put it on, which hosted the most expensive festivals(Coachella, Rothbury, and Mile High) in the states. If C3 were able to pull off Vineland , I am sure prices would be in the ballpark of $150-$200 for a weekend pass.
Ollo, do you know if any of the festivals this weekend will be doing a webcast? Specifically, Street Scene or Treasure Island. I feel like I have been lucky in watching some good acts this year on webcasts. I know that ACL is on blueroom next weekend, which should be pretty cool. Thanks for your hard work on your website. Its a great resource.
To me, that would be a huge bonus - I love Devo, but The Black Crowes... meh. The lineup intrigued me, so I checked out the website. If it weren't so soon (tomorrow!) and if the overlaps weren't so horrendous, and if it weren't on the opposite side of the country, I might have gone. But now... ehhhh. Would love to, but damn! I think they need to not cram everything into a fifteen hour block spaced out over two days. It just seems too much.
