Those, my dear, are amazing.....and I am super impressed by your ghostland shots I took like 30 and I only got one usable shot.....
The jealousy I have for those media band wielding people runs thick through my veins lol....you don't know how tempting it was to not follow one of them and rob them of their wristband........especially when I would wait or like 6 hours to get a good spot for a few photos to a band and I would see the photographers just kinda walk up snap a few amazing shots and walk away....or be corraled out by security....lol
Anywho great shots!!! Watch out next year if you see some short girl wearing a panda hat, I'll probably be sneaking up behind you to get that meda wristband lol
hey jw... great photos. you used fisheye too! were you hanging in the press trailer/tent at all? who do you shoot for?
Thanks, I was shooting for the Knoxville Voice, its a small paper in Knoxville. Yeah i was in the press tent, I was the tall/skinny kid wearing the Red Sox hat most of the weekend.
ah... i think i remember the Red Sox hat. I was wearing the Florida Marlins hat all weekend. I hung out in the trailer mostly, but I was in and out of the press tent a lot getting water and filling up the coolers. I don't think people realized it was up to us to put the water bottles in the cooler.
spiderblues - i LOVE your shots! good stuff. who do you shoot for? by the way, that girl in the bikini at the fountain looks a lot like a flat chested Amy Winehouse.
i just use a D80! can't afford D300 or better right now. funny though, i also used 80-200 f2.8 and the 10.5 f2.8 fisheye. i also had the 50 1.8. love that little lens.
